Deborah Folorunso, a 14-year-old girl developer from Nigeria, has built and launched a recovery app designed to help people separate from drugs and alcohol addictions.
The app, BreakForth, can help users overcome addictions such as gambling, drugs, and alcohol through preprogrammed commands and digital coordination.
According to Deborah, the app was designed to help users remain accountable to their confidants throughout their recovery journey.

While speaking further on how the app works, she said the app comes with a panic button feature that can be engaged in case of uncontrollable urges.
Though it remains unclear how the app intents to help people willingly end their drug and alcohol habits by tracking users’ progress and motivating them with daily quotes that help them detach from their addictions.
Critics have assessed the pitch of the product and pointed out that the app could be another public tech carnival where an older figure is selling a gamification idea to appeal for funding by using a little child.
