It’s been tough for romance but a cross-border couple did not let COVID-19 travel restrictions obstruct their love.
When the lingering COVID-19 pandemic stalled their wedding plans, Montana-native, Kadee Jensen and her husband who was born in Alberta, Jaxon recognized the fact that they needed to get creative.
Instead of postponing their wedding, the couple began to brainstorm on how to wed in the presence of their family members.
After a hard and long thought, the lovers decided to seal their vows right at the U.S.-Canada border.
While sharing images of the wedding online, Kadee said: “We were finally able to discover a way that both of our families could be at our wedding.
“So grateful for the border guards who allowed us to get married at the line dividing Canada and the U.S.”
The wedding took place at the Canadian side of the border with Kadee’s dad Randy walking her down the “aisle” through a barbed wire fence line.

Kadee added: “Never thought my dad would walk me down the aisle through a fence, but pretty cool if you ask me.”
Kadee rounded off the post by saying her unconventional wedding is the “best day ever.”
