The Ika Association, Toronto GTA held its maiden family picnic on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at the Centennial Park, Etobicoke. It was fun packed with food, drinks, traditional dance, and activities for both children and adults.
Membership of the association is open to all indigenes of Ika land, comprising Agbor, Owa, Abavo, Ute, Umunede, Akumazi, Igbodo, Otolokpo, Mbori, Idumuesah, and parts of Igbanke.
The focus of the association is to promote its language, culture and build a rallying point for the support of its members economically, socially, and otherwise.
