Cristiano Ronaldo has completed his medical in Lisbon, Portugal ahead of his return to Manchester United.
According to Sky Sports’ report, Ronaldo has agreed to terms on a two-year deal and Manchester United have inserted a clause to extend the contract for another season. The club will pay around £20m to Juventus.
The club is now working to finalise his visa details before Ronaldo’s move to United is officially done so that the club can unveil the Portugal star ahead of his return to Old Trafford.

As expected, Ronaldo has agreed to terms on a £480,000-a-week deal at United, which will make him the highest-paid player in England. He will likely make his second United debut on September 11 against Newcastle at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo was on the verge of joining United’s bitter rivals, Manchester City and play under Pep Guardiola but United swiftly made contact with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, while club legends like Sir Alex Ferguson, Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra also called Ronaldo to turn down Manchester City and United instead.
While speaking before United’s 1-0 victory over Wolves recently, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Ronaldo would propel the team to a new level.
He said: “Hopefully we can get the paperwork sorted and announce it,’ said Solskjaer. ‘He is a great player, a great human being. I’m excited to keep building this squad. He will bring something completely different.
“Let’s get him back to United after the break and hopefully he’ll be involved as soon as possible. He will make us a better team.
“Hopefully Cristiano can come in and show what he has done in his career. I am sure he likes all the talk about being old. Make it personal and he will show what he can do.”
