The government of the United Kingdom has altered the special license of Chelsea Football Club, as such, the club can now sell tickets to cup matches, away games and fixtures involving the women’s team.

It should be recalled that since the sanctions on Abramovich as part of the UK government’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Chelsea have not been able to sell tickets.
According to reports from the UK, under the changed licence, proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the Premier League and then be shared among the relevant party.
This means Chelsea will be able to sell tickets for their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid at home on 6 April.
Also, they will be able to sell tickets for their upcoming FA Cup semi-final clash against Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.

Furthermore, away fans can buy tickets for Premier League games at Stamford Bridge, with revenue going to the Premier League.
