Canada has announced the closure of its airspace to Russian aircraft operators amid the lingering invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops.
This announcement was made recently by Canada’s Minister of Transport, Omar Alghabra.
While making the announcement, the Minister tweeted: “Effective immediately, Canada’s airspace is closed to all Russian aircraft operators. We will hold Russia accountable for its unprovoked attacks against Ukraine.”
