Canadian Association of Nigerian Doctors and Dentists (CANPAD), the umbrella association of all physicians and dentists of Nigerian heritage in Canada, held its End of Year Gala recently in Edmonton.

The Gala was themed “Regroup, Recharge and Refocus. During the Gala, the keynote address was given by Dr. Scott McLeod, the Registrar of College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta.
The gala was attended by Kaycee Madu, Deputy Premier of Alberta.
After the gala ended, Madu took to his Twitter page to express his happiness to be part of the gala and thanked the members of the association for their commitment to Canada’s health care system and patients.
He also thanked the Registrar of College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta for his keynote address.
He tweeted: “Wonderful to join the Alberta chapter of the Canadian Association of Nigerian Doctors and Dentists (CANPAD) at its End of Year Gala in Edmonton. Grateful to these group of doctors and Dentists for their commitment to our healthcare system and patients.
