Portugal striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the time to talk about his future is not now and that whatever happens this summer will be “for the best”.
While speaking ahead of Portugal’s opening Euro 2020 group game against Hungary, Ronaldo responded to the speculation.
He said: “I have been playing at the highest level for many years this doesn’t faze me, maybe if I was 18 or 19 I might have had some sleepless nights, but I’m 36.
“Whatever comes will be for the best, regardless of staying at Juve or being transferred.
“The crucial thing now is the Euros, it is my fifth Euros, but for me it’s like my first Euros. We want to play a good match with good thoughts from the first to the last match.”
While talking about his position with Portugal, Ronaldo added: “I feel comfortable playing up front, as always.
“Left, right, front, back, wherever it’s best to help the team win.
“That’s the most important thing, regardless of the fact that I play in the position that I like the most. Any position suits me. The important thing is to win and help the national team.”
