French-Canadian Nigerian singer, Töme has released her latest single titled ‘Nana.’ The song is a mixture of afrobeats’ tonality with the touching lyricism of the indie-folk music of Töme’s childhood.
She released her sophomore album titled – #BiggerThan4Walls-Chapter 2 in 2020 after her debut album – Tomesroom- Chapter 1. The album was a hit and it earned her a nomination at the Canada awards.

While speaking about the song, Töme says: “I think it’s safe to say that when it comes to boys/men and relationships, you need to make sure you know what you want and if they don’t like it, we’ll you can’t hear them”.
Töme has carved a niche for herself in the music industry by widening the scope of afro-fusion. Her uniqueness lies in her unlearned melodies and blistering lyricism. She blends the best of both worlds for music that point to the fact that she is a Nigerian without being within the country.
Töme plans to tour Canada early next month in a bid to popularize her new single and upcoming EP.
