Nigerian-born Shola Agboola has won the nomination in Saint Boniface, as such, he will be the candidate of Conservative Party of Canada in the next general election.

While reacting to the nomination, Agboola said: “I am so humbled by the support and endorsements I received during this race. I thank God for this opportunity to serve others in making our home riding a place of hope, shared values and goals. I will be a representative fully available to you and I will work hard to provide the answers you need when you need them. As a diverse riding, we are stronger together and that will allow us to succeed as a united, supportive neighbourhood.”
The Nigerian High Commission in Canada has congratulated Agboola on his nomination. While congratulating him, the High Commission tweeted: “Congratulations, Shola Agboola, on your nomination as the Candidate for the conservative party of Canada
in Saint Boniface. Kudos to the Nigerian Association of Manitoba.
“Keep building a formidable community together. Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa, celebrates your bold strides.”
