A minimum of 13 Nigerian movies recorded N34.69 million in seven days as six out of the 13 films made it to the top 10 during the week.
Also, four foreign movies made the compilation of films that Nigerians watched between May 7 and May 13.
Data obtained from the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) reveals that 20 movies recorded N75.33 million from 52,667 movie lovers in the last seven days.
The six Nigerian movies that made the top 10 list are:
- Breaded Life (N13.48 million/52 Locations/4 Weeks)
- Prophetess (N6.14 million/43 Locations/6 Weeks)
- Dream Job (N4.24 million/42 Locations/1 Week)
- Wait, The (N2.56 million,/38 Locations/2 Weeks)
- Esin (N1.98 million)
- Suga Suga (N1.91 million/38 Locations/2 Weeks)
