The GM/COO of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Engineer Jide Oduyoye has sounded a note of warning to LASTMA officials.
Oduyoye warned the officials in a recent video. While talking to the officials, he made it known that the body is now under heavy pressure to change its attitude towards motorists as Nigerians and Lagosians in particular would turn on the body if attitudinal change is not effected.
He said the complaints of motorists were real and that a lot of complaints have been made about officers in Oworonshoki. He tasked the officials to change their strategies and expectations and warned that any officer caught extorting motorists or being wicked to motorists would be dealt with severely. Also, the Zebra, the Commander and the Controller of the Zone where the perpetrator of the atrocity is would be penalised.
