A speed boat carrying ad-hoc staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to Ilaje area has capsized.
It was gathered that ballot papers and other election materials meant for some polling units in Ilaje Local Government were damaged as a result of the incident.
Meanwhile, the INEC ad-hoc staff escaped through the use of lifejackets.
