The trial of Ramon Abbas a.k.a Hushpuppi has been suspended owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chambers orders of Judge Otis Wright issued not too long ago revealed that the jury trial will continue on May 4, 2021.
Hushpuppi had pleaded not guilty to the four-count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering, international money laundering and taking part in monetary transactions in property gotten from a spelt out unlawful activity.
If found guilty, Hushpuppi may be sentenced to 20 year in the U.S federal prison.
