Celine Dion has announced that her North American leg of her Courage world tour that was originally postponed in March owing to the COVID-19 pandemic has been rescheduled to next year.
The newly rescheduled North American dates start in Winnipeg on August 16 and stop in Pittsburgh on September 24, with stops in three major Canadian cities as well.
These include shows in Saskatoon on August 18; Edmonton on August 20 and 21; and Vancouver on August 28 and 29.
In a recent release, Dion and Concerts West/AEG Presents said that the tour would return “safety permitting.”
The release also said that tickets that were bought for the initial 2020 tour dates will be honoured for the rescheduled 2021 dates.
Celine Dion’s 2021 tour in Europe will start on March 19 in Paris and end on July 25 in Bucharest.
While talking about the rescheduling of the tour, Celine said: “I know how difficult this year has been for so many of us, and we are all looking forward to better days ahead.
“I want to thank you for being so patient over the past few months while the team has been working on rescheduling our North American dates. Finally, we have some news, and I can’t wait to sing and dance with you all again.”
