Emirates has announced it would commence passenger services to Lagos on September 7 and Abuja on September 9.
The commencement of flights to both cities in Nigeria takes Emirates network in Africa to 13 destinations as the airline strives hard to help its customers travel safely while following industry-leading health and safety guidelines at all points of the travel journey.
Lagos flights will operate four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) while Abuja flights will operate daily.
Passengers traveling from the two cities to America, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific can connect via Dubai, as such, customers can stopover or fly to Dubai as the city has opened for international business and leisure visitors.
In a bid to ensure the safety of travellers, visitors, and the community, COVID-19 PCR tests are compulsory for all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai and other areas of the UAE. This includes UAE citizens, residents and tourists, no matter the country they are coming from.
