The acting Managing Director of Niger Delta Delta Development Commission, Kemebradikumo Pondei, fainted while providing an account of his stewardship at the investigative panel of the House of Representatives Committee probing the commission.
Pondei fainted after failing to defend the N1.3 billion he approved to offer COVID-19 palliative for members of the Commission. Also, he could not defend the N640 million he approved to Clear Point Communications Limited.
He was being asked about the money meant for students on scholarship when he fainted and he has been taken out of the session for medical attention.
