Google Play Pass was launched in September 2019 as a subscription service which offers apps and games without adverts or in-app purchases. It only operated in the U.S.A.
The good news is the service has expanded its operations to nine new countries. Once the expansion process if completed, the service will be offered with a free one-month trial. At the end of the trial period, subscribers will pay $4.99 every month.
The new countries include Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK. These countries will receive Play Pass soon and users from these countries can opt for the new yearly subscription option which costs $29.99 per year.
For comparison, the Google Play Pass’s fiercest competitor, Apple Arcade comes with only games and it costs $50 per year while more than 150 titles have been added to the Play Pass over the last few months.
