The Nigerian Judiciary has lost an icon as the Chief Judge of Yobe State, Justice Musa Nabaruma has been confirmed dead.
According to reports, a family member, Hussaini Nabaruma confirmed the death of the Chief Judge on Tuesday May 19.
The Nigerian Canadian News gathered that Nabaruma who served as the Chief Judge of Yobe for about nine years, died on Monday night after a protracted illness at the National Hospital in Abuja.
Recall that he was appointed as the Chief Judge of Yobe state in 2011 by the immediate past governor of the state, Ibrahim Gaidam. His tenure was the longest in the state.
As at the time of filing this report, the State Government was yet to make a statement.
