The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari on behalf of the entire Iwoland community for situating a Federal College of Education in Iwo, State of Osun.
Also, Oluwo extended his unreserved gratitude to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for believing that the town’s capable of hosting the institution. He categorised the governor as a tested and trusted leader who believes every constituent is important.
The fashionable king assured both President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola that his community will keep supporting in a bid to reciprocate their kind gestures toward the community.
Furthermore, Oluwo extended his appreciation and felicitation by lauding Senator Adelere Oriolowo, the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District and Honourable Yunusa Amobi, the House of Representatives member representing Iwo Federal Constituency at the National Assemblies.
While savouring the moment, Oba Akanbi, assured the President that his community is ready to offer necessary support that will facilitate the smooth take off of the institution. He said there is availability of more than enough land, adding that he conserves Iwo land for necessities like this.
He urged every indigene of the town to exhibit cooperation and join hands with the government to build Nigeria’s most beautiful College of Education.
In his congratulatory message, Oluwo rejoiced with the indigenes and residents of Iwo. He urged them to support their leaders with prayers most especially at this time when things are taking shape as far as dividend sharing is concerned.
He displayed his joy that President Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola were used by God for Iwo most especially in the situation of the Federal College of Education. He remarked that the development has further renewed his trust in President Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola for their objective listening ears.
