FCE: Oluwo of Iwo lauds Buhari, Oyetola and others

The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari on behalf of the entire Iwoland community for situating a Federal College of Education in Iwo, State of Osun.

Also, Oluwo extended his unreserved gratitude to the Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for believing that the town’s capable of hosting the institution. He categorised the governor as a tested and trusted leader who believes every constituent is important.

The fashionable king assured both President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola that his community will keep supporting in a bid to reciprocate their kind gestures toward the community.

Furthermore, Oluwo extended his appreciation and felicitation by lauding Senator Adelere Oriolowo, the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District and Honourable Yunusa Amobi, the House of Representatives member representing Iwo Federal Constituency at the National Assemblies.

While savouring the moment, Oba Akanbi, assured the President that his community is ready to offer necessary support that will facilitate the smooth take off of the institution. He said there is availability of more than enough land, adding that he conserves Iwo land for necessities like this.

He urged every indigene of the town to exhibit cooperation and join hands with the government to build Nigeria’s most beautiful College of Education.

In his congratulatory message, Oluwo rejoiced with the indigenes and residents of Iwo. He urged them to support their leaders with prayers most especially at this time when things are taking shape as far as dividend sharing is concerned.

He displayed his joy that President Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola were used by God for Iwo most especially in the situation of the Federal College of Education. He remarked that the development has further renewed his trust in President Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola for their objective listening ears.

A statement issued by the Press Secretary of the Monarch, Alli Ibraheem, reads: “On behalf of the good people of Iwoland, I commend president Muhammed Buhari for situating a Federal College of Education in Iwo. The singular decision has convinced me to do more and better in supporting the success of his administration.

“Equally, I extend my appreciation to the Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, for his leadership style. He has convinced us more. We will continue to support his dream for the state. The stage is for him, he should ride on. He is a leader of reckon, very productive and defined. He should continue to count on our support as usual.

“I must also acknowledge the leading role played by the Senator representing Osun west senatorial district, Senator Adelere Oriolowo and the Iwo Federal Constituency House of Representatives member at national assembly, Abuja, Hon. Yunusa Amobi. They have demonstrated their virtue, I commend their legislative vigour at ensuring the dream is successful. Worthy of mention are the two national leaders of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande. The honourable Minister for Education, Adamu Adamu is appreciated. Mallam Waziri Adio of NEITI and Asiwaju Musulumi of Iwoland, Alhaji Liad Tella are appreciated.

“Also, I assure the Federal Government government of Iwo community’s necessary support to ensure smooth take off of the college. I’ve more than enough expanse of land while we assured you of other necessary support”.

“Equally, the state government should continue their assistance and synergize with the federal ministry of education for smooth take off.

“I relate the accomplishment to a house project. The architect, bricklayers, carpenters, tilers etc have different roles to play. I commend everyone for making themselves available at the point of need. You have all made an immeasurable, unforgettable history.

“To all my subjects, I congratulate you while I appreciate your trust in my leadership. The reward for hardwork is more work. I promise to continue serving you with all my strength, mental skill and ability. Do accept my best wishes as we continue to enjoy dividends of this progressive democracy.”
