The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has disclosed that a truck loaded with about 30 Almajiris was intercepted by its officials at Joju in Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of the state.
The truck’s Registration number is Kano XG172 KNG and the truck was meant to convey only goods but was wrapped with a tarpaulin.
What the truck was carrying was discovered when the operatives coerced the driver to park and remove the tarpaulin. When the driver untied the tarpaulin, the operatives saw up to 30 Almajiris loaded with pepper in the truck.
After discovering the almajiris, the truck was ordered to turn back and was led to tollgate, the area that borders ogun state and Lagos state.
