The Government of United Kingdom wants China to pay back the money it spent on the acquisition of millions of faulty antibody tests that was supplied by China.
UK’s Department of Health has admitted that not one of the 3.5million finger-prick tests ordered from Chinese manufacturers last month passed accuracy checks.
This request came at a time when governments in Europe have rejected Chinese-made equipment produced to fight coronavirus.
The Ministry of Health of Netherland recalled 600,000 face masks at March ending because they were certified unfit and the filters were highly defective.
Spain underwent a similar issue as 60,000 testing kits from China did not pass accuracy tests.
Also, the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Igor Matovic, said a million tests from China were not accurate to the extent that they should ‘be thrown straight into the Danube’.
