The Central Bank of Nigeria has debunked rumors making news that the apex financial house has floated the naira.
This was made known by communications director, Isaac Okorafor, Director, who spoke on behalf of the CBN Governor, Godwin Emeifele in response to Breaking Times Enquiry as result of a publication by an online news medium nairametrics.
In his words;
“There has been NO change in Nigeria’s exchange rate structure. The CBN has not floated the naira. The exchange rate remains stable. Speculations and reports to the contrary are false.”
