According to reports, Super Eagles and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen is on the verge of a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for a fee of €120 million.
This deal will come as a heavy blow to Chelsea’s hope of landing the Nigerian international to address their striker crisis ahead of next season.
Many big European clubs has also shown interest in securing the services of Osimhen this summer.
Meanwhile, negotiations between Napoli and PSG, as reported by Italian outlet Il Mattino, are progressing to an advanced stage.

PSG is determined to beat competitors like Chelsea in the pursuit of Osimhen’s signature and they are poised to activate Osimhen’s €120 million release clause and offer him a lucrative four-year contract worth €13 million (£11m/$14m) per season.
The financial constraints of Chelsea and the need to adhere to the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability Regulations (PSR) have made them withdraw from the race for Osimhen’s signature.
Since Kylian Mbappe informed the management about his desire to leave the club in the summer, Osimhen has emerged as one of the top candidates to replace him.
Osimhen has a £112 million release clause in his new contract, which PSG would be happy to activate.
He has evolved into one of Europe’s most lethal strikers in recent years, following up on an impressive 26 goals in 32 Serie A appearances last season with seven in 13 appearances this season.
