The Nigerian Government has revealed that Kaduna-based Islamic cleric, Ahmad Gumi, has been invited for questioning over his comments on the activities of bandits in the country.
This development was disclosed by the Minister of Information and Orientation, Mohammed Idris, recently while addressing journalists at the State House, Abuja.
While making the disclosure, Idris said Gumi is not above the law. He however noted that the government has deemed it necessary to invite him for questioning.
