Canada and Germany have announced that they had sent planes to airlift their citizens from Israel, according to Israeli media reports.
Yedioth Ahronoth quoted Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly saying military aircraft are expected to evacuate Canadian citizens from Israel in the coming days.
Jolie added: “We are planning to begin the assisted departure of Canadians from Tel Aviv. We are also working on additional options for those who cannot reach the airport in Tel Aviv.”
In the same vein, airline Lufthansa has announced four special rescue flights that will fly to Israel to evacuate German citizens from Israel, according to the Israeli media.
