Nigerians slam Seyi Awolowo for telling male housemates he will train his sons to “run a train” on people’s daughters

Nigerians have condemned comments made by Seyi Awolowo, a housemate of the ongoing Big Brother Naija All-Stars reality TV show.

While having a discussion with fellow housemates, Awolowo made some comments bordering on sexual harassment and violence by saying he would encourage his sons to “run train” on people’s daughters.

He said: “I gave birth to a boy first. He will f*ck your daughter. I have a ‘shina’ account for my son. I pay money into it. I have it for one of my guy’s sons. I have that account for a lot of my boys’ sons. They will f*ck your daughter….”

Nigerians have reacted to Awolowo’s comments on Twitter. Check out some of the reactions below:

@Breakyonevk tweeted: “And what’s interesting is that the internet never forgets. His “sons” will see this. We are in troubled waters.”

@Solypapy tweeted: “This is what most young guys do; this is the thought process of most of them. I have been in many conversations with guys that say this often. And it often starts from I prefer to bear boys than girls. This is even intertwined with our African culture where pple will want to know the sex of your child whether it is male or female.”

@swag_lukarz tweeted: “I think he was just cruising. My problem with him is he drinks too much.”

@Kenjiofficial__ tweeted: “I don’t know why most wealthy families have badly behaved people.”

@LIC3ion tweeted: “What about his own daughters?”

@achille_frank tweeted: “When person drink e de talk waiting de him mind. Now we know ilebaye was never the problem.”

@davejrn01 tweeted: “Had it been the show was irrelevant, who will even listen to people like this.”

@Ayan00168 tweeted: “Shey nah boys Una expect his son to dey carry ni???

@The_Herbpire tweeted: “Seyi Is very wrong and unreasonable for saying his sons will fkuc people’s daughters. A reasonable man thinks of how he will train his sons to have good morals and values. Seyi should know there is karma and he may have daughters and the whole city may fkuc his daughters too. End”

@SymPLysimi tweeted: “They need to actually hold this agbaya down and flog him until he forgets his last name. Also, “Not my daughter in Jesus name” is crazy. Imagine your skull wasting because nothing is inside.”

Dara Ikenna Nzimora tweeted: “I hear that Seyi Awolowo said he will pay for his sons to molest girls, or something along those lines. Can’t say I am surprised. Knowing who his grandfather was and what he did, this one is almost tame.”
