A viral video has revealed yet again how callous police officers are in Nigeria.
According to some witnesses, the police officers from Ekpoma division accosted him to check his phone, which he objected to, as this is unlawful. Then, the officers seized his phone, handcuffed him, and proceeded to take him to their station.
Other passersby stepped in and the police officers were made to leave the scene without uncuffing him.
In the middle of the back and forth, the victim lay on the ground and the police officer ran over him with the vehicle.
After this incident, the police officers came down from the vehicle and ran away.
