A snowmobiler in his 70s, has died after he was hit by a pickup truck in Steinbach, Manitoba recently.
According to reports, mounties were summoned to the area of Highway 12 near Clearsprings Road at around 7:40 am.
Police feel that the snowmobiler must be around 73-year-old from Steinbach and he was trying to cross Highway 12 eastbound on his snowmobile when a pickup truck driven by a 45-year-old woman hit him.
The man was confirmed dead at the scene but the woman wasn’t hurt during the incident.
Steinbach RCMP has started investigating the collision.
