Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Susan Peters who quit her marriage last year, has revealed one of the major reasons why the marriage crashed.
While talking about why her marriage crashed, she said her ex-mother-in-law never liked her because of her skin colour.
She made this known while reacting to Prince Harry’s statement about the way his family treated Meghan because of her Skin colour.
In separate interviews with British and US networks ITV and CBS, Prince Harry talked about his mother’s death, his disdain for the British press, his infuriation over the treatment of his wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and the subsequent frustration with his family since their marriage.

While reacting on her Instagram page, Susan wrote: “We all go through the same thing, my mother In-law never liked me too. I think the color itself is intimidating, oh well … we never agreed with each other at all.”
It should be recalled that the actress moved on in March 2022 and erased everything that would remind her of her brief romance with her ex-husband, Dr Koen Croon.
The actress got married to her Dutch lover in a traditional wedding ceremony that took place in Benue State in 2015 and later had a civil marriage at Ikoyi Marriage Registry, Lagos State in the presence of some of her colleagues in the movie industry.
Trouble started when Susan and her husband began living miles apart from each other.
She was already pregnant with their first child when it was rumoured that the marriage had crashed.
She however lost the pregnancy but as a very private person, she kept her lips sealed and continued to enjoy her marriage. The marriage later crashed.
Another reason for the breakup was the long distance that separated the couple. Susan was busy with her acting career and left her husband abroad.

She was not willing to sacrifice her great acting career and fully settle down. This made her husband indulge in an extramarital affair. She got to know about this and all efforts to patch things up proved abortive and the marriage collapsed.
