God says this will be your year of TESTIMONY. “Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. “Psalm 119:22; As you testify reproaches in your life shall disappear And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.

And they did not love their lives so much Rev 12:11 As you testify your enemies shall be defeated. “I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years” Rev 20:4. When you refuse to bow for the enemy you shall give testimonies. This year it is your turn to testify. This year you will become a testifier

2. God says you should walk with Him in holiness and righteousness. God says you should be careful in your journey with Him so that you will not fall.1 Cor 10:12. If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. I see some people like Demas going back to the world because of offence. “Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia 2Tim 4:10

3. God says 2023 will be full of all of kinds of troubles, economic woes, recession, inflation , natural but those who stay Jesus’ track may suffer for a while, but God will settle them. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you”

4. God says make this year a year of serious prayers, there will be challenges, there will be battles, financial battles, society battles, you must be in the company of people that pray. It is good to listen to prophecy but listen to me many prophecies will die in the womb and will become still birth if there is no sustaining prayer to bring them to life. You can only build your life on prayer not on prophecy. The reason Jesus was prayerful on earth is because he understood the power of prayer and supremacy of prevailing prayer over prophecy. He knew he could only bring things that were written concerning him to pass through prayer not prophecy. He knew He was born to die on the cross, but he had no stamina to go through with it until he prayed at Gethsemane. You cannot be a strong spiritual person if all you are looking for is prophecy instead of building your self in prayer, what will bail you out is prayers. Listen to me those who will have concrete testimonies this year will be people of prayer. Even your miracle is predicated on prayer. In Marl 10: 46-52 and Bartimaeus prayed 1 Sam 2 :1 And Hannah prayed….

5. Be a friend of the Holy Spirit. Pray for the power of the Holy Spirit – Make the Holy Spirit your teacher, companion and Senior Partner in all you do. Then you are guaranteed testimonies galore. God says he will be generous with the gifts of the Holy Ghost and He will release His Spirit on those who will seek for His companionship.

“And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:2

We no longer see your miraculous signs. All the prophets are gone, and no one can tell us when it will end. Among those who will testify in Jesus’ name this year you will be the first. God says he wants to raise prophets among us people. – Psalm 74:9

6. God says run away from sin. God says be watchful for His coming is near. Do all you can to be a partaker of the marriage super. You cannot go far with sin in your life. Jesus says He is coming back again! Are you ready for Him? Is your name in the book of life? Prepare for His coming. Not only you but prepare your family, your children and your parents for the coming of the Lord

7. The Lord says you should pray for Nigeria. Three main prayers-

Firstly, that his purpose for Nigeria should come to pass because there are so many evil powers contending for the soul of the nation. One of His purposes for the amalgamation of Nigeria is to use the Southern Christians to evangelise the Muslim Noth. Secondly, Pray for the election that the nation will not fall into wrong hands especially the presidency. Anyone that will cause a set back shall not smell the seat of power. Thirdly, pray that Nigeria will not disintegrate and there shall be no war.

8. The Lord says go and share the testimony of your salvation: Go and tell the world about Him. Don’t be ashamed of Him. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek
