According to a report, a Nigerian man is currently suffering in a jail in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after he was wrongfully arrested.
A chef in Dubai disclosed this on Twitter and said the man was initially reported missing.
According to the chef, they later discovered that he was arrested when he went to buy groceries from a store.
He tweeted: “There’s a 23-year-old Nigerian currently languishing in Dubai jail. He went missing for a while and then we found out he was arrested for no reason just after he finished buying groceries from the store downstairs. There are so many of them in jail. No criminal cases nothing.”
