Samuel Eto’o attacks a fan outside World Cup stadium

Footage of football legend and current Cameroon FA president, Samuel Eto’o, attacking a man outside a stadium in Qatar has gone viral online.

The viral clip shows Eto’o leaving Stadium 974 in Doha after watching Brazil defeat South Korea in their round-of-16 match.

Eto’o looks happy to take photographs with waiting fans as he walks out of the stadium before he was approached by a man with a video camera.

The video, recorded by La Opinion, later showed the pair trading words before Eto’o returned to the scene to confront the man.

It remains unclear what was said to infuriate Eto’o but he reacted angrily and pushed the cameraman.

Onlookers intervened to try and settle the dispute but Eto’o chased the man and was held back as he kept making attempt to confront him.

While four men held him back, he gave his phone to a man, broke out of the huddle, kneed the man in the face and knocked him to the ground.

The unknown man was helped to his feet while Eto’o was held back again by two men.
