Taking a glimpse into the smartphone market in Africa, it’s hard not to notice the increasing anticipation of smartphone users about the latest mobile trend, since various OEMs have decided to wow their users by rolling out exciting series of smartphones with top-notch specifications to cater to different consumer preferences.
Recently, several leaks and rumours have started to surface about upcoming devices and the brand topping the chain is no other than Africa’s number one leading smartphone maker, TECNO Mobile – highly noted for delivering premium smartphones.
Reports indicate that the mobile phone giant is expected to launch another smartphone flagship with a notable upgrade in the camera performance. This wouldn’t come as a surprise to smartphone lovers as TECNO have made a big impact in smartphone photography this year, with the unveiling of a 24MP front camera smartphone- CAMON X pro.
In the battery compartment, rumour has it that the device is set to flaunt a massive 4000mAh battery and despite this, its weight can still be compared to a feather. According to recent leaks, we should expect the upcoming device to retain the same big HD screen display of its predecessors in the CAMON series – 6.0 inches along with an ultra-slim body and other features like the face identification and fingerprint scanner.
The device has also been predicted to run on Android 8.1 with great processors along with a roomy space of 64GB ROM and a 16GB RAM hence users are guaranteed a swift and efficient mobile experience.
What more should we expect? A sleeker look perhaps or more enhanced features. Nevertheless, we are keeping our fingers crossed till an official announcement is made about the rumoured device.
