As Election Day nears, we wanted to share our plans for sharing live results of Mississauga’s Election once polls close.
Live results will be available online at www.mississaugavotes.ca for the public to view as results come in from each polling location. Polls close at 8 p.m., but anyone in line by that time will be able to vote. Once any voting lines have cleared, counting will begin for each polling location and we can expect to start to see results online around 8:15 p.m.
In addition to posting results to the Mississauga Votes website for the public to watch, JSON, ASCII and Excel text format files will be available online for media to share results on their own channels. We will share links for each of these files at the end of this week.
