Ryan Grantham got sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to second-degree murder of killing his mother.
Ryan is a 24-year-old actor who entered the entertainment world at the age of 9 and has featured in various films and television series such as the secret of the nutcracker in 2007. He also played the role of Jeffery in Riverdale.
He shot his 46-year-old mother Barbara Waite at the back of her head on March 31, 2020 while she played the piano in their home in Squamish, British Colombia, Canada.
According to Justice Kathleen Ker’s verdict, he would not be granted parole until he has served 14 years in prison.
