Jeanne Beker, the popular Fashion Television Personality, Editor, and Fashion Television host for 27 years, has started chemotherapy after a recent Cancer diagnosis.
The 70-year-old mother of two daughters Joel and Becky got diagnosed with breast cancer after her 70th birthday and speaks of her determination to fight it all.
Beker has seen life differently ever since her routine mammogram test revealed a mass. She has embarked on a 12 weeks course of chemotherapy and shares it all on social media to create more awareness for routine checkups.
Speaking to HELLO Canada, she said: “If you can’t change a situation, try to change your mind.”
In her determination to help others, she posted her recent visit to her favorite salon to have her hair trimmed after she lost a few of her strands due to chemotherapy.
She said in her words ‘you’ve got to try and find the silver lining and you’ve just got to keep going.’
