Shola Agboola, a top Nigerian-Canadian politician and the first Black to be appointed as a member of the Conservative Party’s Leadership Election Organizing committee, took centre stage during the recent convention of the great Party and unveiling of the new Leader of the Conservative Party, Pierre Poilievre.

During the convention, Agboola gave a great speech. He started by saying that as a person who contested the last election under the great Party, he understands that Canadians want a better alternative, as such, they want the Party to present a credible plan to win the next election.
Also, he praised Erin O’Toole for his great works and made it known that O’Toole achievements with the Party always motivate him to do more for the party.
He ended his speech by announcing the party’s contribution to the True Patriot Love Foundation on behalf of Erin O’Toole and his family as an honour to Queen Elizabeth II’s commitment to charitable causes.
He was given a rousing ovation by members of the party who were at the convention after his speech.
