Prince Charles, the heir of the late Queen has become King Charles III following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
By implication, King Charles becomes the 62nd British monarch at 73 years old.
Recall that Queen Elizabeth II died recently in Balmoral Castle at the age of 96.
Her family and loved ones rushed to be by her side in Balmoral Castle where she was after the doctors raised concerns about her health.
She was said to have been the longest reigning monarch having ascended the throne at the age of 25.
Tributes and eulogies from world leaders like United Kingdom Prime Minister, President Buhari of Nigeria, Obama, and citizens all around the world have been pouring in after Buckingham Palace announced her death.
James Brown, the Nigerian cross-dresser and dancer fainted upon receiving the news of Queen Elizabeth’s death, and this stirred reactions from his fans who consoled him.
