The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has visited the mourning family of Mr Chibueze Momah in their Lagos home to offer her sincere sympathy and support.
During the visit, Dabiri-Erewa prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their son, who graduated in computer programming a few months before his tragic death.
It should be recalled that in July, two Nigerians, Tosin Amos-Arowoshegbe and Chibueze Momah, were shot dead at a Canadian club.
The victims were staff of the ATL lounge in Vaughn, Ontario. They worked as security guards.
The killers fled the scene of the incident before the arrival of the police.
In a statement issued, the police said they were gathering information about a suspect linked with the shooting.
Dabiri-Erewa had earlier condemned the killing of the two Nigerians in a statement and urged the Canadian authorities to fish out the culprits.
Chibueze’s father, Mr Ikechukwu Momah, thanked the NIDCOM boss and her team on behalf of the family for the visit and requested a thorough investigation into the matter.
