Montreal police have commenced an investigation into circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in a bin during the collection of waste in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve recently.
Police were called by a pickup worker after the body was found during a recent pickup at Letourneux and Adam St.
The body had been stashed in the bin but was taken into the back of the recycling truck, where it was found.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene upon the arrival of the police.

A perimeter has been set up by officers to permit investigators to survey the area.
While expressing his shock, Danny Tremblay, who resides very close to the location of the bin said: “It’s a lot.
“A death, next to our home. I have a child in the house.”
As preliminary information is only available, police have only identified the death of the man as “suspicious.”
According to the spokesperson of police, Veronique Comtois, “Suspicious,” in this case, “means that all hypotheses are being studied right now to explain this situation.”

No suspect has been identified by the police.
