The Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has sent a congratulatory message to the Super Falcons after qualifying for their ninth consecutive women’s World Cup.
Super Falcons beat the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 in a recent quarter-final match in Casablanca.
Atletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade netted the only goal of the match after heading in Ifeoma Onumonu’s cross.
Nigeria will play against hosts Morocco in the semi-final.
While congratulating Super Falcons, FIFA tweeted: ”Nine in a row. You absolutely love to see it.
