Punjab Police has brought gangster Lawrence Bishoni, suspected to have orchestrated the murder case of Punjabi singer, Sidhu Moose, to Mohali on Transit remand.
The gangster was presented before a Chief Judicial Magistrate court in Mansa.
Punjab Police got 7-day remand of Lawrence Bishnoi. However, Punjab Police have assured Delhi court of Lawrence Bishnoi’s security.
Bishnoi is currently detained at Kharar jail in Mohali. The Punjab Police have beefed up security for the gangster.
The Punjab Police said they have tendered multiple facts before the court to argue that Bishnoi was behind the murder of Punjabi singer.
During the probe of the murder, Punjab Police told the Delhi court that confession statements of the arrested accused were recorded where it was clearly stated that Lawrence Bishnoi had tasked the co-accused to carry out the “planned killing of Punjabi singer.”
Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, who according to reports took responsibility of Sidhu’s murder has a connection with Lawrence Bishnoi.
In a Facebook post, Brar claimed that no action was taken against Sidhu Moose Wala even after his name was mentioned in the killing of singer and youth Akali leader Vikramjit Singh Middukhera alias Vicky Middukhera.
