According to Channels TV’s report, a coalition of Northern Groups has bought the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms for former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to contest next year’s Presidential election.
This came after months of intense speculations that the former President would contest in 2023.
According to the coalition, the form was bought in a bid to support Jonathan as he is the best candidate as far as the 2023 Presidential election is concerned.
It should be recalled that lost to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
