Rofiat Agboola has once again made her family and the people of Manitoba proud with her achievement at the recently concluded Ontario University Athletics competition.

Rofiat Agboola, the 19-year-old second-year criminology student and daughter of famous Canadian politicIan and philanthropist, Shola Agboola, participated in the long jump and relay race at the competition and won silver medal in both events.

As a result of her achievement, she has qualified for the national USports Track and Field Championship.
Prior to this achievement, Rofiat emerged as Canada’s top long jumper at Legion Nationals where she represented Manitoba and Northwest Ontario in 2019.

Her father, Shola Agboola, was very happy with her performance and took to Instagram to congratulate her on her achievement at the competition.
He wrote: “Rofiat, thank you for making us proud! Thank you for making Manitoba proud! Congratulations on your excellent performance at the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) competition this weekend.
“Winning medals and qualifying for national USports is not a small achievement. Keep up the good work”
