25-year-old Khalil Wheeler-Weaver of Orange, has been sentenced for three murders, attempted murder and other aggravated arson, desecration of human remains and kidnapping counts.

In 2019, Weaver was convicted on three counts of murder bordering around the deaths of 20-year-old Sarah Butler, 19-year-old Robin West and 33-year-old Joanne Brown.
Also, he was found guilty of the kidnapping, sexual assault, and attempted murder of a fourth woman, Tiffany Taylor, who was able to survive the attack.
Essex County Superior Court Judge, Mark Ali sentenced Wheeler-Weaver to 160 years in New Jersey State Prison.
In line with the No Early Release Act (NERA), Wheeler-Weaver must serve 145 years before he is eligible for parole.
