TONTO DIKEH SET TO ENROL 1000 CHILDREN IN SCHOOL

Despite the crisis rocking Nigeria’s sensational actress Tonto Dikeh and her affluent husband, she is said to have forged ahead in showing her love for children as she is about providing children’s educational needs like books, uniforms and school fees.
According to information gathered, the reason behind this unbelievable gesture has to do with the fact that she discovered thousands of children are not in school.
Under this development, 1,000 indigent Nigerian children will be helped under the initiative titled ‘The Tonto Dikeh Back To School Project’. The project is run under by the actress’s NGO, Tonto Dikeh Foundation.
While speaking about this plan on her Instagram page, she said, “This situation will lead to an unpromising future. For a lot of these children, there exists no hope of getting education due to inherent poverty and indeed lack of education by most of their parents who, based on their own background, would have developed no value for education.”
During her campaign for support in a bid to better educated the vulnerable people, she wrote: “The Tonto Dikeh Foundation #backtoschoolproject is committed to re-write their stories and give these children a fighting chance at life by empowering them with the most important weapon – Education.”
