Peter Okoye, Cubana Chief Priest and Oma Akatugba cheer Victor Osimhen up after Napoli’s Champions League exit (Video)

Though Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen scored for Napoli last night, he could not save the team as they eventually crashed out of the UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen was absent in the first leg of Napoli’s quarter-final tie with AC Milan due to an injury but featured in the return leg and played the whole match.

Milan progressed despite a 1-1 draw with the Naples club at the Diego Maradona stadium and advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 aggregate win.

Olivier Giroud’s first-half goal sealed the win for the visitors after his penalty miss early on. Napoli’s earlier chance to equalize was not grabbed as Kvaratskhelia missed a penalty later in the match.

Osimhen scored in the 93rd minute to give Napoli some hope but the comeback was already too late.

After the match, popular singer, Peter Okoye; celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest; and UEFA-accredited sports journalist, Oma Akatugba, stayed back to show love to Osimhen.

While posting the video of the post-match event, Akatugba tweeted: “A big group came visiting Victor after the AC Milan game. @peterpsquare

and @cubana_chiefpriest . They put a smile on his face despite the defeat.”
