Israel Adesanya has knocked out his bitter rival, Alex Pereira, in Miami to regain the UFC middleweight belt.
Adesanya, who came out for revenge against Pereira who gave him a Technical Knock Out and stripped him of his middleweight belt in the final round last November, bounced back from his last defeat and became UFC middleweight champion again by knocking out Pereira in the second round.
The fight was the fourth clash between Adesanya and Pereira and it was watched live by former U.S. President Donald Trump, Mike Tyson, UFC President Dana White, and many others.
While reacting to his victory during his post-fight interview inside the octagon, Adesanya said: “This is a sweet sweet victory and you know I have a sweet tooth. The hunter is now the hunted.”
