The City of Edmonton invites residents’ input into projects, policies and initiatives that grow our communities, establish government services and prepare our city for the future. Below are current opportunities for Edmontonians to shape their city.
Changing neighbourhoods to meet changing needs:
- Pop-up Dog Parks. Share your thoughts about the new temporary Pop-up Dog Park Program. Your feedback, along with technical and operational requirements (such as uneven terrain that can impact mobility or present hazards, land title restrictions, etc.), will be used to help determine the locations for the temporary Pop-up Dog Parks in 2023. Residents living near the proposed Pop-up Dog Park neighbourhoods are encouraged to share their perspectives by March 27 at edmonton.ca/PopupDogParks.
Building a stronger economy and increasing prosperity:
- Property Assessment Satisfaction Survey. Property owners are invited to share their thoughts and opinions on the services and information they received from the City about property assessment. Complete the online survey by March 24 at edmonton.ca/surveys.
Supporting healthier and more inclusive communities:
- Anti-Black Racism Action Plan. You are invited to meet with City of Edmonton senior leadership to share your feedback on and discuss the City’s Anti-Black Racism Action Plan. Senior leadership wants to hear firsthand from the individuals and communities who are vital partners in developing an action plan to address anti-Black racism in Edmonton. This engagement session will be on Saturday, March 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Central Lions Recreation Centre (11113 113 Street). You can also fill out a survey with your feedback at: www.surveymonkey.com/r/edmontonabr.
- Rollie Miles Recreation Centre. An online public engagement meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. to review the design concept for the Rollie Miles Recreation Centre. Registration is now open. An online survey on the design concept of the Rollie Miles Recreation Centre is open from March 15 – 29 at edmonton.ca/RollieMilesRec.
Defining what Edmonton will look like in the future:
- March Mixed Topic Survey. Edmontonians can provide their input on experience of visiting or living in the Centre City Area as well as opt in to participate in a later survey about digital signs as part of the monthly mixed topic survey available from March 14 – 21. Please visit edmonton.ca/surveys to share your thoughts.
